2011 Footsteps for the Orphan Weekend Events
It is that time of year again! HeartCry is blessed to sponsor the 2011 Footsteps for the Orphan Pasta Dinner/Silent Auction and 11th Annual New Hope Harvest Classic 5k and Kid’s Fun Run. The Pasta Dinner/Silent Auction will be held the evening before the race on November 4th at 6:30 p.m. The race will be held on Saturday morning, November 5th, at 8:00 a.m. You may register online for both events by clicking on the Harvest Classic banner on the front page of the www.heartcryforchildren.org website.
We need each of you to make this event a success! In advance of the event, we are looking for donations of auction items for the silent auction portion of the pasta dinner. If you have an item, service or experience you are willing to donate, please contact Wendy Koelbl at koelbls@gmail.com for further information.
We also need you to be a part of these events! We have an incredible ministry to highlight on Friday evening at the pasta dinner. You will not want to miss what God is doing through a very special young woman in Uganda, Africa. The proceeds from the silent auction will benefit her ministry, as well as other ministries reaching orphans across the globe. Race with us on Saturday morning, knowing that each footstep you take will be one serving the life of an orphan. Mark your calendars…we look forward to having you at both events!
